MULTI MEDIA ARTS
Electrolabs run workshops in Multi Media Art installation/performance production.
We will work with groups to create original film, sound design, music for a performance, installation or to upload onto You Tube. This can follow or link with particular themes that are being studied in classes, projects or schools.
Participants will learn how to handle and operate a High Definition camera and will learn how to film great shots and edit footage on leading industry standard Mac based Final Cut Pro.
For installations, participants will learn how to operate Arkaos Grand VJ visual Software with midi controllers and will also learn how to set up and use multiple projectors on site. They will also learn how to operate Serato Video SL visual software using an Apple MacBook Pro and Technics 1210 turntables.
Participants will use industry standard recording, production and performance equipment and software to produce first class music and sound. Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Traktor and Serato are all used alongside Apple MacBook Pros and midi controllers.
